A Distributed Mix-Context-Based Method for Location Privacy in Road Networks

چکیده

Preserving location privacy is increasingly an essential concern in Vehicular Adhoc Networks (VANETs). Vehicles broadcast beacon messages open form that contains information including vehicle identity, speed, location, and other headings. An adversary may track the various locations visited by a using sensitive transmitted beacons such as identity location. By matching used at locations, learns history of vehicle. This compromises driver. In existing research work, pseudonyms are place actual beacons. Pseudonyms should be changed regularly to safeguard vehicles. However, applying simple change does not always provide privacy. Existing schemes based on mix zones operate efficiently higher traffic environments but fail lower densities. this paper, we take problem diverse We propose new Crowd-based Mix Context (CMC) scheme provides well protection The pseudonym changing process utilizes context road direction number neighbors transmission range for anonymisation vehicles, adaptively updating vicinity. conduct formal modeling specification proposed High-Level Petri Nets (HPLN). Simulation results validate effectiveness CMC terms anonymisation, probability traceability, computation time (cost) effect vehicular applications.

Mix-Zones for Location Privacy in Vehicular Networks

Vehicular Networks (VNs) seek to provide, among other applications, safer driving conditions. To do so, vehicles need to periodically broadcast safety messages providing precise position information to nearby vehicles. However, this frequent messaging (e.g., every 100 to 300ms per car) greatly facilitates the tracking of vehicles, as it suffices to eavesdrop the wireless medium. As a result, th...

A fast privacy-preserving framework for continuous location-based queries in road networks

The prevalence of location based services (LBS) gives rise to personal privacy concerns as users share their locations and queries to obtain desired services. For continuous queries where users report their locations periodically, attackers can infer more about users' privacy by analyzing the correlations of their snapshot samples. Traditional privacy-preserving solutions designed in Euclidean ...

Resilience-Based Framework for Distributed Generation Planning in Distribution Networks

Events with low probability and high impact, which annually cause high damages, seriously threaten the health of the distribution networks. Hence, more attention to the issue of enhancing network resilience and continuity of power supply, feels more than ever, all over the world. In modern distribution networks, because of the increasing presence of distributed generation resources, an alternat...

Privacy-Preserving Location-Based Query Using Location Indexes and Parallel Searching in Distributed Networks

An efficient location-based query algorithm of protecting the privacy of the user in the distributed networks is given. This algorithm utilizes the location indexes of the users and multiple parallel threads to search and select quickly all the candidate anonymous sets with more users and their location information with more uniform distribution to accelerate the execution of the temporal-spati...
